Fresno Famous

Fresno has been pretty good on keeping tabs on the successes of local bands.  However, I've always felt like From Indian Lakes has slipped between the cracks.  Since these boys from Yosemite Valley released thier first album in 2009, they've toured so extensively that they now have a booking agent, played with a few sold out shows, and have talked to a few labels along the way.  The band recently released their newest album, "Able Bodies", independently with much fanfare.

Tonight will mark the first night of their US tour with Arizona band Lydia, which has them stopping at venues like the Roxy Theater in Hollywood and Highline Ballroom in New York.  Not bad for a band from these parts.

You can catch them at Kuppajoe (3673 N. First St.) tonight with Light Thieves, Brave Season and Wales.  Show starts at 7:30.  Price is $12
