Oso de Oro Park inspires a Music Video by Shirley Kirsten

My daughter, Aviva and I took a spin over to Oso De Oro Park in Northwest Fresno, with its

breathtaking backdrop. We couldn't resist pushing our hand held camcorder through bars

that framed the lake, as ducks and geese gracefully glided by. Some managed to come up onto

the grass to snatch treats, and before long, we had  a full cassette of aesthetically pleasing video

frames that would justify a private screening. After an hour or so, we meandered home and

thought about adding music to the whole nature enriched experience. Aviva, who had been fine

tuning her skills as a video editor, did a masterful job intertwining Bach's Prelude no.

1 in C Major from the Well Tempered Clavier with a paradise of  images. After many

painstaking hours, she and I had meticulously collaborated on producing a near three minute 

video that was, in essence, a tone painting.  Here are the results:
