Fresno Famous

On the evening of Thursday March 22, Fresno State students will be coordinating with downtown developers and creating an open house tour for offices.

Each location will offer patrons an opportunity to view available spaces, talk with developers, and enjoy some refreshments. Event-goers will be treated with wine, art, live music, a live mural painting, and more. This event promises to be a great experience for businesses looking for new space, as well as a great networking tool for local business and social groups.

For those familiar with Art Hop in downtown Fresno, this event will be quite similar but with a focus on downtown office space and revitalization.

Fresno State students are currently marketing to professional groups such as law and accounting firms, technology firms, non-profit organizations, and a host of others who they feel will fit in well with this new downtown schema. However with the versatility and optional customization of spaces such as those in the Grand and the Pacific Southwest Building, virtually any and all businesses can comfortably call one of these places home.

Downtown revitalization efforts are in full swing here in Fresno. With the assistance of Craig Scharton, director of downtown revitalization efforts for the city, local developers have truly turned what was once a place that was avoided, into a prospectively booming metropolitan hub. With the fine work that has been done by downtown developers in creating new residential and commercial districts, and the assistance of Fresno State in promoting that work, the city of Fresno will soon embrace its downtown once again.
