This was one of those mid-week shows that come through Audie's periodically and most people miss because most people are dumb and don't like to stay out late and have their ears blasted on a random Tuesday night. Too bad for them. They miss out every time.

Our set: I've given up trying to rate how well we perform on any given night. Sure, some times things just FEEL better, but for the most part, we do what we do, and that is that. If it means anything, here is a show tweet from @thefresnan: "Is there a more entertaining frontman in Fresno than  Josh Tehee? The answer is 'No! Fuck off.' "

The Shrine: These dudes came out looking like the cast of "Lords of Dogtown," (or "Dogtown and Z-Boys" for that matter) and proceeded to play a set that could have easily been the film's soundtrack. It's 80s-era punk played with Black Sabbath fuzz. The sound suffered a bit from being too loud (say what!, old man?), but in a case like this it is better to err on the side of ear-bleeding, I guess.

Word is they will be back at Audie's June 28 with label mates Assemble Head in Sunburst Sound.
