Fresno Famous

A romantic comedy written by William Shakespeare around 1595. Is considered one of the great classics of world dramatic literature. It was apparently written to commemorate the wedding of Sir Thomas Berkeley and Elizabeth Carey, in February 1596.

PLOT

A play full of fantacy, dreams and reality, love and magic in which multiple storylines interwine focused respectively on two pairs of novel lovers in a carefree group of comedians, Wedge, Assembly, Quill, Flute, Gasusa and Torch, and a series of characers from the fairy kingdom, among which are Puck, Obregon, The King of Queen Titania. The common backround is in the celebrations of the wedding between Theseus and Hyppolyta.
