Seriously, someone tell me, because I am looking at the musical line-up for this year's Fresno Fair and I'm stumped.
ZZ Top (Oct. 5), I know.
Merle Haggard (Oct. 6), yes.
Big Time Rush (Oct. 8), yes (sadly).
The Family Stone (Oct. 10) I assume is some relation to Sly.
Little Anthony and the Imperials (Oct. 11), I love on PBS, although I thought Little Anthony was dead (no offense).
Third Day (Oct. 12)? Yes.
Billy Idol (Oct. 13), of course.
Miranda Cosgrove (Oct. 15) I have seen a few times on iCarly (don't judge).
Sick Puppies (Oct. 7)? ... no clue. Wikipedia says the band is Australian, been around since 1997 ... had a hit of some sort in 2007. But I'm at a loss. For a Friday on the first weekend of the fair, it seems like an odd choice.
Am I wrong? Is this someone's favorite band and I just don't know?

Sick Puppies rock!! Not necessarily the most famous band, but their music is way cool!! Definitely going to be an awesome show!!
Yeah, apparently lots of people know who they are. I've been sleeping on the radio rock, I guess.

And you're not wrong about the lineup. I wonder if the casinos have anything to do with taking some of the talent that would maybe be on the fair circuit and using them up on the casino circuit... dunno
Maybe its my youth saying this, but I'm looking forward to seeing Miranda Cosgrove.
And nope...can't tell you who the Sick Puppies are.
