Sisters Yoga plans to open a hip new yoga center this fall in Northeast Fresno at Montecito Plaza, 2940 E Nees Ave, Fresno, CA 93720 (NW corner of Willow & Nees). The new location with 1,300 square feet will have a boutique area showcasing clothing, yoga props and jewelry. The schedule will include classes in different yoga teaching styles for different abilities as well as a pilates mat/yoga combo, a Christian Yoga class and other classes such as belly dancing and pole dancing.
Chasmar "Chaz" Russ, who is registered with Yoga Alliance (and Trent Russ, husband and co-owner) believe all females need a place where they can nourish themselves away from relationships and responsibilities. Sisters Yoga provides a space where the female yogi (age 7 and up) can tune into her unique melody, the same melody that serves as the soundtrack to her life. This is a place where women can "let their hair down," learn how to laugh at their misfortunes, tend to the garden of their self-esteem, and amaze themselves with their growing inner and outer strengths.
Chaz has linked with several local Fresno charities and will be forwarding them a portion of her class "donations."
