Just this morning word came that the White House has chosen Fresno as a test market of sorts for its Strong Cities, Strong Communities program, which partners federal officials with local governments and organizations to help create solutions for problems like education, health and transportation. The idea is to get all levels of governments (and the various departments) partnered with the private sector and working together toward one common goal.
