Ban Christian Marriage, Support Gay Marriage
I propose that we ban Christian marriage; Christians should not be allowed the sacred rite of matrimony and especially must not reproduce. If we want a better future, we must abolish this abomination of Nature.
In general terms, Christians are enemies of freedom the world over. More specifically, this is a short list of the atrocities Christians have been responsible for:
1) the genocide, conquest, land theft, rape, and forced converstion of indigenous peoples around the world, all in the name of God
2) slavery
3) torture and murder of thousands of "witches" in the European inquisition
4) murder of millions of people in the medieval Crusades
5) Salem Witch Trials and murders
6) enslavement of the natural world, including other animals
7) patriarchal rule and violence against women and children
8) murder of abortion clinic workers
9) murder of and violence against gay people
10) KKK
11) Timonthy McVeigh and Eric Robert Rudolph
12) countless wars, invasions, and occupations
13) the holocaust and many fascist regimes
14) catholic priests' sexual abuse of children
15) trying to ban gay marriage
These are all terrible, upsetting historical examples, and while seeming extreme examples, some have been commonplace throughout history and popularly supported (genocide against indigenous people, salvery, Crusades, domestication of Nature, patriarchy, fascist regimes, wars, etc).
In contrast, how many have gay people killed?
What's the difference between banning Christian marriage and banning gay marriage---except that banning Christian marraige makes more sense and has a more logical basis?
Ban Christian marriage and support gay marriage!

>>>If you are a gay muslim, according to their law, they drop a wall on you. IF you survive, they chop your head off.
--->Having spent plenty of time in the middle east (I happen to be in a muslim country as I type this) I can tell you there are plenty of gay people here. I've never seen anyone's head chopped off, and I've definately never seen anyone drop a wall on anyone else.
>>>All religions except for the religion of atheism are against gay marriage.
--->Now you have revealed you have no idea what you're talking about.
Only the really super intelligent

okay, go ahead and prove that being gay is a choice
born gay asks:
"okay, go ahead and prove that being gay is a choice and that people are not born gay. i'm waiting."
as the ones that want to be "normal", get "married" & have families
I would say that, no, its your job to prove it,
btw, I'm not waiting, I got better things to do
born gay then states:
"and yes, all religions are tools of oppression and domination. we'd be better off without any of them."
theres more evidence that there is a God, than that being gay is normal, why in nature would it be normal? sounds more like a handicap to most species, should California spend $millions breeding gay condors? gay salmon? gay "fairy" shrimp? gay kit foxes? gay El Segundo Blue butterflys? or gay kangaroo rats? you get the point, in nature, its a form of birth control, of the loser in the race to pass on its genes, read about the selfish gene in sociobiology books
read up on the God module hard-wired to our brains
life as a miracle (or luck)

"primate" says, "Ban Christian Marriage, Support Gay Marriage

problem is, all societies through all times, have had some form of marriage ritual, & always between a man & a woman (or women)
since you're the one that wants to prove a point, could you find examples of any society that practiced "gay marriage" & list a URL for your source?
thanks so much

being "born again"
doesn't mean you have twice as many rights as the "unborn again".
born gay
okay, go ahead and prove that being gay is a choice and that people are not born gay. i'm waiting.
and yes, all religions are tools of oppression and domination. we'd be better off without any of them.
Not just Christians against gay marriage
If you are a gay muslim, according to their law, they drop a wall on you. IF you survive, they chop your head off.
Jews are against it as well.
All religions except for the religion of atheism are against gay marriage.
People are not born Christian. People are not born gay. Both are choices.
Id say being homophobic is a better way to go
Christophobia
For the record, I grew up a Christian and, in spite of being gay, hold no ill will towards most of them. It's the homophobic wolves in Christian clothing---the anti-Christians, if you will---with whom I take issue.
Besides, look at all the damage that has been wrought by Islamic fundamentalists and Zionist Jews.
There's certainly plenty of criticism to go around, now, isn't there?
hand in hand
does Christian and homophobic have to necessarily go hand in hand.
I'm Christian, and I'm not homophobic.
I often feel that the very fundamentalist side of Christianity gives all of the religion a bad name. Its very frustrating.
....
There are good sides as well.
Seems you hate Christians as
Seems you hate Christians as much as they hate gays? Or is that just satire as well?
And I don't hate gays nor am I for 8. Though I do not like people that hate for the sake of hate alone.
point
yes, that's a good point. it is satirical, but at the same time christians really are responsible for the listed atrocities. of course i don't advocating banning anybody's right to marry, but if anyone's should be banned, it's christians'.
Marriage bans
Great satire!
I might add that people are not "born" Christian or "born" homophobic, either.
Accordingly, we should not grant such people special rights, namely marriage to each other, or worse, the ability to legislate their petty hatreds.
