How do I say this without
How do I say this without sounding like a drunk? Um, is there a limit on how much beer you get to sample?
Oktoberfest
I wish we could make it.
Is there a list...
..Anywhere of which west coast breweries will be there? Sounds like a great event, and it's right here in Fresno! Hopefully some of my favorite California breweries will be able to make it out.

"Oktoberfest" in the Tower
We are less than a week away and I am supper excited. I hope we get a good turn out and I want to thank everyone that has posted so far for all of your positive feedback and comments. =)
Hope to see you there!

Finally
A real beer fest in Fresno (as opposed to a get-drunk fest) - yesss!
A Different Home Brew?
Yeah Ed, this sounds like the event I was telling you about and it's probably a lot of the same people, but I don't think it is... unless they totally changed it. The one I was telling you about is more low-key then this and happens on the river. But it does happen in October too... humm, I'll have to do some real REPORTING on this and stop being a blogger for a while, do some research and get back to you.
At any rate, it looks better than Taste of the Tower already and maybe Sudz.

the end of september ;)
Thanks a lot. Our main goal is to create awareness of the growing craft beer community especially in the valley. To top if off its starting big time in FRESNO!!!!

On Oktoberfest in September...
Why not? This sounds like a great event and I'll do whatever I can to help promote it.
i heard this:
i haven't been to this event, but i've been told by the fresnan it's a 100x better than suds in the city. i haven't heard any comparisons to taste & toast of tower. this is much more about people actually sampling and enjoying local micro/home brewers than people just trying to get their drink on.
Two steins up
...Way up! Hope I get more for my $20 than I did at the Taste of the Tower for $15.
