Fresno Famous

This is not only the freshest chinese food in town, it may be the freshest restaurant food period. Jimy and Karen Wen came from Madera after many successful years. With their move to northeast Fresno, they have perfected fresh.
Their simple menu belies the complexity of the authentic flavors. Chef Jimy Wen has a sophisticated take on traditional Chinese. All the chicken dishes are prepared with breast meat -- the garlic chicken and chop suey are the place to start. You may never leave those dishes, but try others. Even the braised tofu bursts with flavor. The spicy scallops could change your life!
Meals are, of course, prepared to order in this beautifully decorated little shop. Seats (up until now perhaps) are usually available without much wait although it could use more room on some nights.
Tucked into the same shopping area as John's Incredible Pizza makes this place a bit tricky to find. The reward is well worth the hunt.
