CSU Summer Arts Student Culminations

If you've never attended a student culmination at CSU Summer Arts, Friday, July 24, is your chance. There will be seven culminations beginning at 10 a.m. in the Conley Art Gallery and concluding late into the night at John Wright Theatre.

Culminations are the result of what the Summer Arts students have been studying since July 13. Not much time, but you wouldn't have known that at Wednesday night's culmination featuring students from the Singer-Actor class. They put on the Baroque opera, Dido and Aeneas in full costume and a live orchestra made up of Fresno Philharmonic musicians and Fresno State Professor Hatem Nadim on the harpsichord. You can catch the second Singer-Actor culmination Friday night at 7:00 p.m. in the Concert Hall for the staging of Puccini's Gianni Schicchi.

These events are free to the public and all located on the California State University, Fresno, campus.
