Dear Prop 8 supporters,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all. Thank you for your firm stand against Homosexual marriages. Your passion for natural marriage gives me chills. I won’t say it was refreshing to know that religious organizations were behind pro 8 because as the history shows they usually are; slavery, evolution and education, civil (every race except whites) rights, and now homosexual marriages. Because of the unique nature of homosexual marriages it is very obvious why religious corporations decided to ban against it. Block homosexual second class citizen rights, let the blacks and white marry(that was unnatural before too), but not homosexuals. Seriously, what would god think if he saw humans treating each other equal? He would get confused and think Armageddon happened and he did not get the memo.
Thank you proposition 8, without you I never would have seen homosexual marriage as a problem. You’ve opened my eyes. Homosexual marriages are a big problem! Homosexual’s who don’t marry lose basic rights. For example a close friend of mine, we’ll call her Sara was in a great four year relationship, her girl friend had two children from a previous heterosexual marriage(he was abusive).Sara made a life with her life partner, the usual a 3 bed, 2 bath, yard, dog, and the white picket fence. After they decided to have a child, her girlfriend decided to carry the child because she had two before. Sara was there during every stage, morning sickness, doctors visits, touring the hospital, and felt the first kick. Then the big day came, their son was born. A beautiful healthy baby boy, so innocent, big eyes looking at his mom and Sara. Sara took time off work and stayed up late nights and early mornings, bottles and diaper changes. She felt the warmth of his chest when he fell asleep to her humming his favorite tone. For six months of the new baby’s life he was unconditionally loved, she bathed him gentle, clothed him, fed him. Now her girlfriend as fleeting feelings are she left my dear friend. Sara has a stable home, food, a job, and more love to fill all the coldest hearts, but she moved out of the house.
Basically what I’m say is, Thank you Prop 8 supporters. Thank you for tell my dear friend Sara she is a second class citizen. Thank you for stopping the adoption of Sara’s new son, Thank you for ripping her baby from her arms and telling her, her love was unnatural. Unnatural is a word reserved for pedophiles and their disgusting love of under aged children, and for a 55 year old man marrying a 13 year old girl on a compound in Utah. A mothers genuine love for her child is in fact very natural and the next time you look at your son, granddaughter, niece or nephew imagine never seeing him or her again. Imagine the law telling you, you have no rights to see that child ever again. You know how much love you can give, but you are not good enough in the eyes of the law unfit and nothing.
Again, thank you prop 8 for leaving Sara alone, no family, no home, a hollow empty space that now no proposition can fix. Thank you, your dedication for you religion is strong, but remember don’t confuse your religious bible for the American Constitution. We stood up against religious persecution 200 years ago and if need be we’ll do it again. Winning the battle is nothing, the war for equality has just began, put your bible away.

Neither, I am a concerned American citizen. I did not know I needed a title in order to support a cause or have an opinion. I’m not an aspiring journalist or write a persuasive essay for gay marriage, I was unveiling a personal hill that I see for my friend and wanted people to know this is a real issue.
First, yes people know some of the same principle in the bible are in our constitution. Except throughout our history our country continues to insist that government is separate. Religion and Government are different. If they weren't the we'd be back with Henry VIII.
I know how long ago we fought. It was just an even number i didn't know this was a history class. And if you would have came to class on time, you would have been there at the beginning to learn the Pilgrims and protestants ran from England for religious reasons. We fought for many different reasons one of which was Freedom from religious persecution. It was important its the 1st amendment. Granted the Pilgrims came as u mentioned years before religion was still part of the fight 233 years ago.
Second, I didn't know that someone else had to support a cause before it was cool or okay. If that is the case then why is there democracy. Aristocracy was the dominate government. There is a reason we ditched that way of governing.
You should know that Gay marriage will become more accepted in the United States. It is on the brink. I bet you were “shocked” when Blacks got there civil rights. WOW… must have been a long day for you.
Let me say this again…just for you. I was never for or against Prop 8 because honestly it didn’t effect me much. Now than I’ve seen the look on my friends face. My “Unnatural” story is the very real story for many family beyond your scope. Other than that I really enjoyed your analyzes of my quick write. I was interesting informative; be it near-sited because your living in the past honey allow me to welcome you to the future. Look around!

fled religious persecution in the Old World for "freedom of religion", not "freedom from religion" as you would have us do

the only way that gay marriage "rights" are granted is if we put away our Bibles & believe your unnatural story-telling...
btw, the only countries that support gay marriage are W. Europeans that will shortly become muslim countries, since they are not reproducing at the minimum 2.13 for continuity & that "right" will be annulled afterwords, when sharia laws is enforced there.
