In case you missed the news last night (or the full-color full-page front page spread in this morning's Fresno Bee) The Fresno State baseball team are NCAA Champions.

My commentary: I'm not a sports fan really. And baseball specifically, has never been of much interest to me. Too slow. Not enough action. But this whole ordeal really pulled me in. I was hooked. First, it was just listening to the play-by-play while driving around in my car. But last night I actually sat down and watched the game on ESPN. Not all of it mind you, I had things to do, but I did watch. And that's big, HUGE, for me.

Am I an fan now? Not entirely. But not entirely not either.

Either way, congrats to the team and to Fresno State.
