Five Dollar Fridays in Downtown

As part of the Spare the Air Campaign from the San Joaquin Valley Air District, Downtown Fresno restaurants are participating by offering lunch specials every week. The weblink to the Downtown Association has more info on the participants.
Café Corazón will be offering a sandwich and soft drink for 5 bucks out the door. We'll be offering our famous Tuna Salad Sandwich as the standard weekly. We'll be rotating another sandwich to give an option for people to choose from. The other sandwich we'll be offering for tomorrow, July 11th, is the Roast Beef. We're expecting a big turnout so get there soon or call ahead, 485-3494

It's one of our "things to work on"
We're gonna replace those chalk boards at some point soon as well. When Liz works on those to update them, it takes a while. We also have menus just about finished. They are going to look sharp. It's a work in progress.
The Pastrami we use is one of the best! Specifically for sandwich making...

I never knew so many people loved Tuna Salad, who knew? We'll be having the tuna salad, and now that we have the great Black Forest Ham to go in our sandwiches they are popular as well. We'll have both of those options with a fountain drink and a small green salad available for the $5.00 special tomorrow.
We'll also be offering a Salami Provolone and Tomato Panini with a fountain drink and a small green salad for only $5.00
With all the heat outside we decided to keep the refreshments coming with a free root beer float with every combo purchase.

Not that I know of
I know people are calling our place and asking. That seems to be common. I'll get with the DTA peeps and talk to them about getting all that info put together. Right now their hard pushes are the website, PBID, Accounting and a lot of other stuff. This is big too so I'll see what they have to say. I know the redesigned website wants to have one of those google calendars so that everyone can chime in on what's going on downtown in one spot. Perhaps some of the local business owners can capitalize here. We've been meaning to get our website up to par as well, and that would be one of the things we'd be trying to keep updated. Maybe the DTA website can add a web link to all the business sites where they have their menu's. Many ways to do it I guess. So many things to do, so little time and money to do it with... I'll bring it up, thanks.
