Does anyone remember the weird story from 1989 about the infant that went missing around the old children's hospital? Her name was Cindy Marilyn Ray. Supposedly she went missing when dad was watching her, but the parents waited a few days before telling the cops? And then both parents tried to kill themselves in a seedy motel in Visalia (dad succeeded)?

Most people I've talked to don't remember this. From what I recall, the cops thought dad killed the baby and buried her in a canal, but they never found the body. They brought in dogs and psychics but still never found anything.

If I remember correctly, I also think that dad was dead for a few days and mom was basically in a coma, but lying next to dad with their faces touching. Part of her face started to decompose because dad's was doing the same. I don't know if that last part is true or just some crap we made up.
