nothing more i love than music..well..ok ..somethings challenge that (wink wink honey) so here's some great shows to check out

The Jay Rossette Project at Arte Americas - one of my fav. guitarists in town, and he's got a great band. he plays tonight at 8pm...go and see a band with ...get this...ACTUAL MUSICIANS!!!! hehe..

6 oz gloves at The Starline, they are having there CD release party tonight. If you play your cards right, you can see Jay and then head over to see 6 oz. should be a good one, and I can't wait to hear their new music.

Saturday morning head on over to YOSHI NOW vintage and check out my favorite newbies Tokyo Death March....similar to Mars Volta.....a few other bands are playing...Akasha, stands out in my head for some reason.
anyway, starts at 1pm

- a couple bands of note -
Lance Canales...dude, seriously...google lance, go to his myspace, and experience some good, raw, and real music! i learned alot from this guy.

Chuck Dimes new album - do it...now...go do it ....do it!

last but not least..come and join us at VBC saturday night in Visalia, this place is becoming my new haven..plus i hear FRANK D is coming with a bunch of buddies!

word.

thanks Patrick, for the Yoshi NOW! mention.
Those that gathered in the hot and dusty downtown parking lot got a fabulous FREE show.
Sadly, it was a smallish crowd...happily, we had a blast!

Here's my favorite quote of the day: Edward of Tokyo Death March replying to Shannons compliment on their performance..."Aw Thanks, It's Freedom For A Couple Of Minutes."

Freedom for a couple of minutes...that is beautiful.

yes.

I thank Patrick for his call to support.
It seems...that the things we may want in this world, come with effort. They do not happen naturally. We actually have to go out, spend our [oh MY WORD!] 5 bucks ...or whatever...and try and make it happen.

Yes. Local Music.. Worth the effort. Worth the humble prices (and more).

I enjoyed Mr. Contreras' last concert over at Crossroads. I severely enjoyed James Brittain-Gore and Mike o' Rademacher and El O. @ the Post Arthop/TokyoShow. Man. I think I spent a whopping 10 bucks to see BOTH of these concerts. This is real. This is good. Come ENJOY the fruit that's just waiting for ya FResburg...and lying on the low branches...waiting to be picked .

and sunday...........

Jamaica My Weekend, Baby.
In the Tower.

..oops.

forgot..shoulda mentioned that, also the midnight howlers are playing!

speaking of arses

Isn't Arsen Roulette bringing his Drugstore Romeos to Club Fred tonight?
