The Livestrong Army comes to town

I stumble upon this story idea while looking at stuff for the Amgen Tour. And while it has an immediate tie (Amgen runs, OK, rides through Clovis Feb. 18), I was taken back by the idea that death rates for young adults (people my age) haven't risen since 1975. In fact, they could be slipping. And we've seen our share of it here in town with the deaths of Matthew Maroot and Marty Clifton (mentioned in the story) as well as local guitarist Jason Garcia.
