Cdbaby.com is a well-known distributor of independent music--
used by local, regional and even a few well-known international musicians.
I've gotten two emails from them over the last few days regarding the new "Theremins of Mystery" CD that I have available through their site.
One was saying that one of the editors enjoyed it and was going to feature it in an upcoming podcast, and another saying that out of hundreds of CDs added daily, they picked mine as one to feature on their website as part of a collection called "The Final Frontier".
(I'm thinking that putting out an album of theremin music right as a summer blockbuster sci-fi film hits the screen [star trek] was a nice bit o' luck.)
You can check out the feature (hey, mine's on top!) at
http://cdbaby.com/playlist/33
and of course, if you wanna check out the CD that's getting this nice bit of interest, be my guest to pop over and buy a copy at:
www.cdbaby.com/blakejones
or pop into Spinners or Yoshi Now! and buy a copy.
Many of you on here are independent artists of one stripe or another and know that even small, modest successes like this are a real kick in the pants!

at Spinners on Olive. They have some local CDs on a shelf just as you walk in on your right. If you don't see it, just ask for it. It's there.
Thanks for your interest.
(CdBaby's also just added the CD to their podcast called "musical discoveries"--at
