For the love of coffee
For those that missed Diablo's invitation to a coffee tasting at Cafe Corazon this afternoon, I've posted my notes and photos elsewhere since Famous Whitewater, Andy, Abe and others were all there (and I took a lot of notes).
But basically, Diablo rocks, and knows more about coffee than I know about...well...coffee. He poured out his java-wisdom, along with several brews, for a crowd of 10 or so, and (as he promised) sent us home with beans of our own.
As one who has spoken out in favor of Starbucks, I'm happy to report that I now understand the true flavors in a good cup of coffee. I just wish he'd open up a location in Sunnyside...
According to Diablo, if there's interest, another tasting will be organized. If you can't give up an hour and a half, well that's why I took notes.

soon. Thanks to all that showed. A friend of coffee house sent me a mail so I can get a mail list service together. I'll be working on that soon as well.
It was fun sharing the love of coffee.
I had a list of things I wanted to go over, and then one of the guys tells me at the end of the night....you didn't even introduce yourself! :) hahaha

Bummed
I was pretty bummed to find out that this was being held on the same day that one of my best friends was getting married.
I hope there will be a next time!
