The Fresno Metropolitan Museum opened its doors on April 4, 1984, ushering in over 2 million visitors over the quarter-century to follow, enthralling them with world class art and science museum programming.
The Met celebrates its silver anniversary in 2009 with a special thank-you to all of those who have made its mission
of continuing to serve the community of the curious possible.
On the 25th of each month from March through October, the Met will be open to the public with just a $2.50 admission fee, less than one-third the regular price. It's the Museum's way of saying "Happy 25th" while offering a special opportunity for families to attend at this very special price.
Plus, on April 25, 2009 at 2pm, join us for a special cake cutting and toast to the Met. Come for cake and a toast with Martinelli's Gold Medal Sparkling Cider to the Museum's 25th Anniversary in the Fresno Metropolitan Museum's Johanson Family Courtyard.
This promotion applies to all admission levels. Members and children aged three and under are still admitted free.
mmmm...Martinelli's!
