Just so there is no question about it: I am jealous of Mike Oz. The dude is EVERYWHERE.
He just may be Fresno's favorite son.
You need proof?
* The city gave him his own day.
* His story on non-baseball-card collecting Bernice Gallego got picked up nationally and put us on the map.
* He's got a regular spot on ex-mayor Autry's show on KYNO.
* The Business Street named him one of its 40 under 40.
* And Jack FM has him as one of its favorite Fresno-born celebrities, even though he was born in Hayward!
It's insanity, I tell ya, insanity!

never gets any notice because they are not writing in the paper
dear famous guest: are you suggesting that that no one in Fresno whose job it is to find out who are the people with the ideas, passion, efforts to make this a better city, state or country does their job?

its easy to have noticed MikeOz over this last years.
No Effort from JackFM, the Business Street, KYNO, and the City of Fresno are fucking lazy ass mother fuckers. Why? Because Mike OZ is only a Reporter who is going to get many hours of fame because he writes regular articles for a living, Yes he is going to be noticed for the stories that the Fresno bee publishes. It’s not that hard to notice Mike any one who has read the bee for the last decade would have noticed his stories.
I would like to see JackoffFM, the none of your Business Street, 13 kyno, and the City of good for nothings get off their asses and really go find some one who is not in the daily spot light as a writer for the news paper because there has to be someone else out there who was really born here but never gets any notice because they are not writing in the paper everyday.
