"Move it, Dig it, Do it" THIS SATURDAY!
This coming Saturday, October 24, from 11am-3pm at The Discovery Center at 1944 N. Winery (between Clinton & McKinley).
An outdoor, hands-on family event where kids can get an up-close look at large construction vehicles and other machines! We will have a dump truck, a backhoe, an excavator, a cement mixer and more!
Learn about hydraulics, air compressors, and simple machines like levers & pulleys.
Kids can grab the wheel, or create their own take home projects while they explore how machines work, through play and activities.
There will also be yummy food and fun music ("Crazy Craig", former Radio Disney DJ!)
Admission: Discovery Center Members-free, Nonmembers-$5/person (under 2yrs free).
You can become a TDC member at the gate for the special 6 month family rate of $20, and get into the event free! (Normally TDC only offers 1-yr memberships).
