Lame
Nice spelling, sounds like you're part of the Mega target
audience. You prove my point, How the low rider? Dummy
lamers
that mega crap is from the 70's and it's always on the top for ratings. So keep dissing most of the Fresno listners.
It's obvious who the lame one is
Lame bands
Bad music has always been part of the Valley,bad heavy metal, bad arena rock and the worse rap and hip hop on earth. This may be the only city in America that still pounds out on the radio (Mega FM) all that burned out Earth Wind & Fire, Dazz Band, & Zapp shit from the 80's. Throw in some scratchy oldies from Billy Stewart & War and you have a real piece of shit. The listeners of that retarded crap should be forced to listen to classical music and opera for a year as until they go through a rehab program. Of course the same folks drive beaters, wear wife beaters & make long distance dedications from the big house.

thanks...
..for the comments, even the negative ones.
this list is foolish.
journey is at the top of your lamest rock bands list?
stop listening to krzr.
Crap bands
This reminds me of a similar thread over at the Beehive.
Let's see:
I'll agree with Journey, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Poison (even more so now), Hanson and Leo Sayer. I'll argue for Bay City Rollers just cause "Saturday Night" has a spot in my heart. Not too keen on the Doobies, but I wouldn't put them in league with these others. I think "The Saftey Dance," is a great song, if that's worth anything. And I will admit I like Twisted Sister, minus the hair and makeup and clothes. Although the Governor sorta ruined "We're Not Gonna Take It," didn't he?
I'd add to this list (and I won't even give the courtesy of links):
* Creed
* the aforementioned Limp Bizkit
* Nickleback
and the Eagles.
10 lame-o's
I think that the bands I feel are most lame are the ones who've betrayed me.
I mean.....if you're lame from the get-go----you don't really bother me.
But check these:
Jefferson Airplane...I LOVE that first (o.k., second) classic album: Surrealist Pillow--but then it's Jefferson "Starship" playing at the Fresno State amphitheater, opening AND closing with that lame multi-author-credited song "We Built This City"sometime in the early 90's.(superbarf)
Or Phil Collins/Genesis...all artsy and me loving them with Foxtrot and Lamb Lies Down...and suddenly it's "Groovy Kind of Love" and Mike and the Mechanics. ARGGGGG! My teeeeeth hurt!
Or YES! I LOVED these guys! "Close to the Edge" and "Relayer" (have you HEARD Brian Kenney FResno play 'To Be Over"?) and then it's Trevor Rabin and AtlanticSuckMyToeForMoney and BIG BIG BIGGG disappointment.
OK, so the ones I HATE the most are the ones who courted my love the most at one point:
Yes
Paul McCartney
Jefferson SpewShip
Genesis
and anyone who clogged up the 70's/80's radio with something that wasn't rock but M.O.R.-------blech.
70's:punk rock HAD to happen
80's: The Minutemen, Jonathan Richman, Tom Waits helped me to survive.
God bless any band that's really trying!
top ten lame bands
So I like lists, even one as negative as this. I like journey, and the Bay City Rollers hardly count as a band. Leo Sayer is not a band, but sucks nevertheless. Poison and Twisted Sister are punchlines to bad jokes, but they do have followers, no matter how sad that may be. Men without hats? I can dance if I want to, especially with a dwarf...Hanson is about as relevant as the Jonas Brothers. I like 2 REO songs, the same goes with Styx. Actually, I rather like Styx, even though Dennis DeYoung is a cunt. Never been a big Doobie Brothers fan.
Opinions differ.
I would include Bon Jovi, Pink Floyd, aerosmith, and Yes as bands that suck, even though I know they may be really popular and even critically acclaimed.
Lets see
most, if not all of them are still out there making real money and you are not. That pretty much sums up why you posted a list like this.
