New Year's Eve: Whatcha doin?

I could leave you to your own devices, or send you over to the Beehive, but I feel like I'm not doing my job proper if I don't at least make some effort to let you know what's happening on New Year's Eve.

The quick choices for me would be:

1.) This thing at the Grand Ballroom, because it is AWESOME up there. Or was when I saw it like four years ago before they had put any work into it, so it ought to be so much cooler now. Also, it's downtown and walkable from where I live. Plus and plus.

2.) The Rocky Horrow Show at the Tower Theater. I've never seen the show, but it seems like a New-Year's tradition, cult-classic-y kind of thing. And I know this isn't the movie version, but still maybe you can dress up?

3.) Whatever is happening at Audie's Olympic. Mostly cause I've had a lot of fun there lately. It's a bit hard to tell from the flier, but the MoFo Party Band playing.

4.) Kicking it with Ray Appleton at Tokyo Garden. Does he still go there every year? He used to talk about it a lot.

5.) With whoever ends up inviting me to their house for a quiet-ish night of drinks and Wii-playing/rock-banding. I'll invite you if I can.

Famous New Year Invite

Consider yourself officially invited over to Wiffle's house, Famous Whitewater (option #5). We'll be having a late-ish dinner a Maroo then party with a couple other Dorktown characters at the house until we can't stand up... it will be small, but NOT quiet - and no Rock Band (unless you want to play for us).

But I don't think there will be any single girls, sooooo, you might want to save it for a back-up back-up.
