Purple Hat has just finished his new website, wwww.purplehatssierras, where you can see selected images and read selected text from his new book, Purple Hat Swims California's Highest Lakes, and also access www.highsierrawildernessimages.com, www.mycrosschristianart.com, and www.highsierrawildernessfitness.com.
In August, 2008, Purple Hat went into the Sierras for 30 days with the goal of swimming the 18 lakes in California at an elevation of 12,500' or higher!
This is the story of his journey. While many funny things occured during it, there were also some scary moments swimming the highest lakes, and a few very profound moments.
The book has 127 pages of text, including a complete list of his gear and his food and 40 pages of full color images.
