River Rock Poetry and Music Festival at the River Center

Saturday, April 11 from 11:00am to 3:00pm
River Center, 11605 Old Friant Road in Fresno

Come celebrate National Poetry Month as the River Parkway Trust kicks off the 2009 Respite by the River literary season at the River Center. Join us as well welcome Puerto Rican Poet, founder of the East Harlem Gut Theater, Chancellor of the Academy of American Poets and author of Maraca: Selected Poems Victor Hernandez Cruz. There will be info booths, publishers, food and art exhibits as well as music by Pa'Chango & the Hmong Council, Rumba pa'la Gente and Jeremy Hofer and Dayanna Sevilla. Other poets including Pelin Ariner, GFTD 1, David Campos and more will read at the event.

This event is $5 per car load.
