Come celebrate National Poetry Month as we kick off the 2009 Respite by the River literary season at the River Center. Join us as we welcome Puerto Rican Poet, founder of the East Harlem Gut Theater, Chancellor of the Academy of American Poets and author of Maraca: Selected Poems Victor Hernandez Cruz. There will also be food, info booths, publishers, art exhibits, music and so much more.
