Summer of Service Orientation
The Center for Multicultural Cooperation is looking for youth and adults to volunteer for the 2008 Summer of Service. This summer we will be teaching volunteers to work with the elderly to preserve their contributions to culture, community, and country in the form of short digital stories. Projects include documenting the stories of Veteran, Hmong, and Latino leaders through the California Voices initiative, and a new program that will produce Mental Health PSAs in English, Hmong, and Spanish.
