Urban Bush Women was founded in 1984 in New York City. This dance company dedicates their work to weaving contemporary dance, music, and text with the hisotry, culture, and spiritual traditions of African Americans and the African Diaspora. Tonight, the company will present Walking with Pearl: Africa Diaries and Shelter.
