It's a short one this week:
Down with ... The MET. Actually, this is for those who were responsible for putting the 25-year-old museum in the mess it is today.
Not that anyone is really saying who is to blame for what can only be called a debacle. You can read the latest here and here.
This thing keeps getting uglier and it's a shame and a mark on the city that is already seen as a cultural wasteland. I know I said the blame game isn't helping anyone, but it's just sad, sad and I keep thinking, this is why we can't have nice things.
"Viva... Down with"
Viva...Down with" seems not to be much more than a blame game to me... so I think calling out those responsible for the Met's demise is fitting.
Anyway, it's very sad... but, a lot of us saw this coming. It didn't even appear to have staying power when it first opened.
