But its old news Mike Dages opened the aluminum closet door when he was running for Mayor. But most of you just didn't understand what Dages said about her.
My question is why do Mexican drag queens think they look sexy dressing as Carmen Miranda?

Maybe they were telling the Truth....

Maybe they were dressed as police because they were coming from a costume party at a the Red Lantern or just did a drag show.
Maybe they felt sorry for the homeless children out on the street late at night.
Mabey they bought toys, candy and happy meals to pass out to the children out of the goodness of their heart.

Just because a few stupid sick individuals decide to go hunting children people blame the whole gay community.
As someone aware of the two sick gay men involved, I find it sad and disgusting.

Now the Prop 8 supporters will make them their new poster boys against gay marriage.
I think its sad the media only shows these gay stereotypes like this drag queen and his buddy identified on one newscast as Fresno Woman.
When is the gay community going to stand up against these negative stereotypes and stop letting right-wing conservatives Christians stereotype them. When are we going to see stable normal gay relationships on the news instead of freaks.
Like I stated before these men are sick and should be locked away.
One is already convicted sex offender the other is just plain stupid. This proves sex offenders will never stop and can't be rehabilitated. They just were not impersonating police, they had kids toys and Happy Meals. They were actively seeking a child.
But as things go in Fresno they will both probably end up as Grand Marshall's in the Gay Pride Parade or staring on a bar float in the parade.

You all attacked Mayor Ashley when she went after sex offenders.

How come no one has said anything about the two gay perverts looking for kids and pretending to be police officers? One is a registered sex offender and a well known drag queen in the gay community. Yet people still insist on protecting this imorality. Even though both perverts were dressed to apper as police and had a flashing light on the jeep.
The Mayor of Fresno should not have to lead a fight against sex offenders.
That should be the head of the County Boasrd of Supervisors job. Where is Henry (I will say anything to get your vote) Perea? Why hasn't he taken a stand against sex offenders. Can we finally get the old Hanoian's Shopping Center torn down?

Mrs Swearengin is promising to clean up the City. It has stood empty scince 2001. The roof is rotton, plumbing and wiring are bad. The fire sprinklers are bad. This building has been slowy falling apart since it was built in 1952. Why are the Hanoian's given special treatment by code enforcement? The City is suing vacant building owners on the Fulton Mall. Will it take another 20 years or the roof falling in before the city condemds Hanoian's or sues them to fix the buildings?

It is an exciting time in Fresno.

I think her appointments to the downtown team show she is committed to making downtown a priority. It won't be an easy job with this economy, but I really get the sense that good things are coming.

I wish her and her team the best of luck.
