The Fresno City & County Convention & Visitors Bureau is partnering with The Fresno Bee and Decipher to find out your perceptions of our community.
For years, the Fresno Area has lived in the shadow of the larger metro areas in Northern and Southern California. Often, mislabeled as a "cultural desert," it’s time to figure out what we are good at and tout it to the World. But first we want to get the pulse of the community. It’s important that we are honest about who we are. Do we have issues that we need to overcome? Certainly. But we also have assets.

Millerton Lake
Millerton lake is beautiful, it's perfect for family picnic and camping. The mountain surrounding the lake is picturuous. Also boating and jet skiing is available for the whole family. that's whay I like about Fresno, California.

it's close to the mountains...
...and the ocean's not too far. The low cost of living, Good weather 9 months out of the year, no snow. Lots and lots of trees and birds which makes for a pleasant, cheerful atmosphere. It's home to me and that feels good.
