The Big Fresno Fair and Electronic Recyclers will once again come together to provide a location for recycling broken or unbroken electronic waste.There is no limit on how many items you can bring to recycle, and it is FREE of charge. H.O.P.E. Animal Foundation is throwing a celebration in honor of having spayed and neutered over 100,000 pets in our community! The event is Saturday March 16th, 2013 from 10am-2pm and will include a low-cost vaccine clinic including rabies vaccines for $6 and microchips for $20, as well as other vaccines. This collection exhibits dynamic works created by 13 of California’s foremost environmental artists who collaborated to communicate a heightened connection to their natural surroundings through rich imagery using a variety of media from the traditional (photographs, painting, and video) to the unconventional (smog /particulate matter on porcelain).
Together, their approach is multidisciplinary, drawing on art, science, spirituality, and social justice.

This is a presentation on the history and traditional arts of the indigenous Otomi people of central Mexico. The presentation demonstrates how important cultural arts are in maintaining the spiritual, economic, and physical health of Otomi communities. It brings together Otomies who now call the Central Valley home. Attendees of this workshop will view an exhibition of traditional Otomi art and enjoy a taste of authentic Otomi foods.
