we now have a gazillion posts for the single palm pumpkin patch... -each day they are open, a post for each day... (thank god it's not possible to put individual hours per event, the server'd crash...)

So I look up the Robert Pierce postings...

It's the Same deal:

If it's a long running engagement,
where it's the same performer (or hosted event, (whatever,) posted by the same person,
---but has different calendar dates?
It comes up as a different post on the board, and the only difference is? the dates involved on the messages, (but on the board, it looks like the same stuff replicated ad-nauseum.)

-Well, I guess that means 'problem solved,' in a way (so we know where the glitch is hitting.)

What is totally not cool?

When these folks lay down a batch of events and promote them?
they can splash out for several months at a time, -and if those events are on different dates -EVERYTHING is going to post at once on the board, ---which (I think,) is what's causing the 'uncrossable moat,' of posts on the 'recent posts,' message board.

--This is a relatively new problem, (if memory serves correct,)
-I don't recall it happening to this extent prior to the chang-over of software, ---if at all...

..okay, so what you're saying is:

This is the same event, (same blah-blah announcing it,) but it has different dates given ----which is why the postings are repeating.
(...He's 'advance noticing' gigs and announcing them up until, like 2010 or something...)

Okay, that's awkward, (and kinda counterproductive in how it's clogging the message board,)

For Vince's post...it's an weekly event. So what you're seeing is a separate post for each week's events. If you open it up and look at the date.

So, like week eleven (or whatever, I don't know how long it's actually been...) of the affliction...

I am deliberately throwing the 'good thoughts,' dial all the way up past ten, well into 11.3, whenever I read Robert Pierce has posted new advances for his events.

I am telling myself each time I look at the board, to read recent postings?
-That Robert Pierce is a good person... (I am telling myself this as a sort of mantra, I am starting to think more positively about Robert Pierce than any other figure of history, and starting to sound like some thorazine'd hopeful, stinking of cigarrettes repeating how great something is, (when it's really not,) ---just to overcompensate.

Robert Pierce, I could never blame you for your carpet bomb posts.
Robert Pierce, I am sure you are a kind soul who makes it your life to help the blind cross the street, who bakes cookies and bran things and brings them to elderly shut-ins, and who hugs the meanest of miscreants and talks to them about their ills all day (no matter how bad they smell, or what they had just done, (such as mug a Riverpark shopper.)

I am telling myself, Even if Robert Pierce is deliberatly posting his stuff a gazillion times in a row?

He had a difficult upbrining, he has a nervous condition, he has a donated computer from the order of the sisters of mercey of calcutta, and that an entire village somewhere is in need of the money that he is generating (and giving whole hog,) to them, -so that they will have an actual electric pump, that runs on goat terds or something, --and the members of the village won't have to lug 50 gallon drums (single handedly,) by hand or dog-cart...

That yes, this faulting, fitzing and farting electronic arrangement is actually the last great act of humanity being done by someone who has a soul so washed clean (by any religious understanding possible,)
---that even the Lord Himself will look at Robert and mumble 'no mas,' (and then go and dope-slap one of the origional disciples...)

Yet...

Try as I try...

I look at the message board, (just to catch up,)

And find endless acre of events that, ---though they may be good?
Though they may be beneficial?
Though they be purely in the best interest of all mankind, and the proceeds not be used for any unkind or unclean thing?

A small acid belch of disdain rises in the back of my throat, and my buttered toasted 'everything,' bagel becomes squished beyond recognition in my trembling hands... (It takes hours to pry it from my grip,)
-as I make sounds that are gutteral, awkward, and no doubt cause the neighbors to think that I:
A.) -have a new love interest and have rekindled some sort of sex-life (hah.)
or
B.) -have a new medical condition and have proceeded with vocalization during convulsions.

Fixating on it?
No...
-Not since starting the injections and chanting Robert Pierce is a good man.

(and I remember, in some call to balance and sanity, that it's happened before with other posters as well... that it's only Mr. Pierce who has had the unfortunate luck of being the trolley for this current batch of demons...)

I must confess, though, -out of fair play.
--As well as the directions of the doctor that I am now going to, (a very expensive one, the kind that only uses the swedish method and calls for LOTS of bloodwork and listening to 'Carpenters,' records for hours on end.)

I cannot go to any of these advertised events, -as it may throw me over the edge...
In fact, I am not permitted to use any words that begin with a capital R or P -as it just causes setbacks...

I've even filed a restraining order against myself from any of these occasions, -just to be on the safe side...

Who'd have known that all these talented, harried, and slightly overtaxed professinals -in so many fields, ---would be required to do this daunting task along side you...

Whatever the required process will culminate in being? (regarding actually fixing the 'multiple posts,' thing?
I think the comment '...FEMA has been contacted,' -will be a gross understatement...

(This may just have to have signs made up to post along the highways, -as well be included as a new station of the cross... -who knows.)
