(Urgent) Funeral Bike Processional for Mary Alice Brown (Dallas Blanchard's recently departed wife,) Today (Thurs Aft.)
All:
Nearly a year ago, two people, having found each other and fallen in love, married.
They are Dallas Blanchard and Mary Alice Brown.
You may know them from Cafe INFOshop, or a number of other events and efforts geared towards caring for the needs of others, social concerns regarding their town and it's people, and the simple pleasures of riding a bicycle.
Dallas, a sweet, kindhearted, smiling and quiet man, with eyes of a sea captain, (always found somewhere on a bike, and happy to serve anyone, (even me, a bottle of cold water on his own wedding day,) is well known by many, and well loved by any who know him.
It is with genuine heartbreak that I am writing you that Dallas has lost his wife suddenly in recent days.
-She passed quite suddenly just short of their one year anniversary.
At his request, (and hers,)
there will be a procession,
on bicycles, (of course,)
from the funeral home, to cafe INFOshop tomorrow (Thursday.)
In her honor.
Dallas and Mary had requested a true New Orleans French Quarter goodbye: a memorial run (dirge,) followed by a party at Cafe INFOshop.
We will be accompanying Dallas with Mary's ashes during this time.
He has invited all who wish to be a part, to attend this run.
Bicycling was a big thing for the two of them.
