2006 Iron Horse 7 speed (new-old stock) for sale.
For Sale: 240.00
an (essentially) new 2006 Iron Horse 'Urban' Commuter.
(Bike purchased as a christmas gift, returned to shop, hung up, promptly forgotten, (required one replacement part,)
fast forward to this past fall, new part put on, purchased and kept in home as part of collection, bike is flawless.)
-so it's a 'New' 2006.
Has:
-26" wheels ('slit-slick' centers, knobbies on side (commuter-street-tires) (factory)
-7speed rear (R side twist shift) (factory)
-Fully Adjustable Neck (factory)
-Fork Shocks (factory)
-Seat Shock (factory)
-New (Steady White Front - Blinkie Red Rear) lights (new-installed)
-'Slime,' Flat protection belts (liners)(new-installed.)
Bike has been indoors and not ridden (nearly,) it's entire life.
It's a Medium sized frame (cruiser style) with Mt. Bike Low-Rise handlebars.
Set up (factory,) as a sprinter,
(you go from low to high high in as few gears as possible, (what you don't need, you don't have... think of it like a newer rendition of a 5speed and excellent for dealing with traffic and local riding.)
With the shocks (seat and forks) as well as adjustable handlebar, the ride is very comfortable, yet it has a 'rigid,' frame so you're not loosing a lot of energy through extra suspension.
PERFECT for commuting, campus, or both.
For addl. 25.00 I'll put on a (traditional) book rack on back
(or)
New Style 'Beaver Tail' book rack (very easy to put on, actually, if you can adjust the seat? you can do it.
Will deliver to Fresno Metro Area for FREE this weekend only.
Will deliver to Greater Fresno Metro Area for 5.00 addl.
Beyond that, we'll have to talk.
Gorgeous bike, comfortable, quick, and agile.
