Its killing me. I just want to know what happened to him. I remember he made some very controversial remarks on the air and then just seemed to vanish. I've never heard anyone mention his name since. Is he still in radio?

Jazz got the Boot here in Michigan because he ruffled too many feathers. The Local longtime "larger than life" radio personas in the area went after jazz tag team style. I liked how jazz wouldn't just pander to all his guests, and would actually address the complaints people put out there against him. There used to be a TV ad his radio station put out apoligizing for whatever he said on the radio, everyone thought it to be legit, but I always thought of it as a publicity stunt, one that worked very well. When it came out everyone around here was talking about it and listening for more issues.

Is this the same Jaz McKay that was on AM radio (I think WIOD) in Miami Florida probably 10+ years ago? He rocked then and was a fresh of breath air!!!!

I listened to Jazz when he was here in Michigan about twelve years ago. He was big into promoting local bands. I am now a big fan of one of those bands, Kung Fu Diesel. I would have never heard of them if not for Jazz. Thanks, dude.
Jazz simply disappeared from the airwaves here one day, and I have wondered what happened to him ever since. A quick google-search, and I find he's doing well out in CA. Keep it up, Jazz. We miss you here in the Great White North!
