SunButton.jpg

WHAT

1) Review the Fresno solar scene - who's doing what, state and regional initiatives.

2) Discuss local and regional barriers and strategies to address them.

3) Discuss possibility of forming an ASES Chapter to promote solar technology in the San Joaquin Valley.

HOW
RSVP to Liz Merry at lmerry@norcalsolar.org by May 8th.

WHY
The Fresno region is a hotbed of solar activity, but there is much more to be done to make solar mainstream. We will discuss solar incentives, describe local and regional initiatives, and list tangential programs on clean air and transportation that impact the installation of solar electric. Meet your fellow solar advocates, discuss the current barriers to solar, and visualize the future of solar in our region.

Coordinated by NorCal Solar, an education and advocacy group formed in 1975; and Mark Stout, coordinator of the inaugural Fresno Solar Homes Tour 2005. Call 530-852-0354 or 559-273-4037 for more information about the meeting.

Location: Margaret Hudson's Community Barn, 4235 N Thorne Ave, Fresno
Starts: 2006 May 9 - 6:00pm
Ends: 2006 May 9 - 8:30pm
