Once again the Elite Rich all Men's, Bohemian Club in San Fransisco have their annual camp meeting at the Bohemian Grove this weekend. There will be a small protest as there has been for the last 26 years. "the Bohemian Grove Action Network along with a wide coalition of peace, justice and environmental groups, will focus attention on the BOHEMIAN GROVE's annual summer encampment along the Russian River in Sonoma County." "Bohemian Grove is a 2000 acre retreat owned by the Bohemian Club in San Francisco. For over 130 years the elite of the corporate, banking, military and political circles have gathered for two weeks in July to ''CREMATE DULL CARE,'' watch elaborate plays and listen to the twice daily LAKESIDE TALKS. Since 1980 a growing coalition of peace and social justice groups have worked to expose the speakers and subjects of these talks which often feature ex presidents, CEOs of the Fortune 500, generals and admirals and top financial executives such as the head of the World Bank. ''Over the years we have obtained the annual schedules of speakers and we have noticed how the subjects often forewarn of events in our country and the world that play out in the ensuing years,'' said Mary Moore of BGAN. ''For example in 1981 Casper Weinberger (Reagan's Defense Secretary) spoke on 'REARMING AMERICA' and then we watched as the military buildup of the early Ã?â??80s happened. It is a way for the ruling elite to float ideas that affect us all without any public scrutiny,'' she said. (See HIGHLIGHTS of Lakeside Talks at http://www.sonomacountyfreepress.com). This year's protest will be on Saturday, July 22, 2006 beginning at 1PM in the main Monte Rio Parking lot in western Sonoma County."

Gobsmacked as to why folks who do not belong to a members only club want to find something wicked about meetings.
A group of wealthy, well connected folks want to get together and unwind. What is sinister about that?
To be true, even wealthy folks can have a boring time, and one might be surprised at how tame the gatherings are. "Thoes who know, do not talk, and thoes who know nothing, say much."
I bet WGS, the Brothers "Z" and all the ABC's are involved too

Bohemian logging
The high-powered club is seeking a special logging permit that would allow it to cut more than 1 million board feet each year in perpetuity without strict environmental review. - Thursday, July 12, 2007
Bohemian Grove Club holds an annual summer camp
this is the time of year to watch the news of Bohemian Grove reports so far I've found this current news.
UK Daily Mail - June 9th 2007
25 Members of America's most illustrious and secretive men's club (The Bohemian Club) are trying to track down a former British topless model who has become an extraordinary obsession for them in, if they can get her in time for its 100th anniversary summer camp party next month (July).

gotcha
It is kind of interesting how the case was never resolved and kind of swept under so quickly...
Things like Bildebergers, the TriLateral Commission, various Masonic involvements, Knights Templar, and such I'm familiar with, (and by the looks of AntiM's posts, he's been swimming in such waters too...)
-Again the Bohemians, were a new wrinkle.
I found it sort of, um, 'levelling,' when such bits as 'the skull and bones,' connection, --for what, (all?) of the presidents included both the 'high water moral marks,' (such as Carter, in my opinnion,) -as well as the more nefarious 'capitalist,' types...
(...not to make light of it, but It's sort of like eating a chicken, stick with the meat, spit out the bones, don't be surpised with something dying somewhere.)
That whole 'enigma, wrapped in a riddle, and enshrouded in a black helicopter,' thing is good for more than a few sleepless nights.
I'm never one to say 'ignorance is bliss,'
-but it's not a happy occasion when one finds out all sorts of stuff,
-and then realizes that doing anything with the knowledge is sort of like being a cow trying to dial 911 with their nose...
(frustrating, creepy, but (hopefully,) not nearly as gooey...)
Chandra Levy
Ooopss...I guess I misspelled her name. The correct spelling is Chandra Levy. And yes, I was referring to the White House intern you mentioned.
Bilderberg Group
Bilderberg conference is an unofficial annual invitation-only conference of around 130 guests, most of whom are persons of influence in the fields of business, academia, media, or politics The elite group meets annually, in secret, at exclusive, five-star resorts throughout the world, normally in Europe, although sometimes in the United States or Canada. It has an office in Leiden, South Holland, Netherlands.

Franklin Scandal
There is a past issue / history of sex crimes at the encampment

"The Franklin Coverup Scandal was the subject of target="_blank">Conspiracy of Silence, a 1994 Discovery Channel documentary that never aired, allegedly due to pressure from unknown members of Congress. Copies of the film have circulated around the Internet. The documentary, produced by Britain's Yorkshire TV, was scheduled to have aired on May 3, 1994 — and appeared in TV Guide as such — but disappeared."
honest question...
--not being a wiseguy here,,,
(thinking that that there may be different unsolved cases from one coast to the other,)
-do you mean Shondra(?) Levy, (whitehouse intern (or something???)
If so, I don't recall anything about 'Bohemian Grove' being said on the East Coast...
(It may have been written and got under my radar,) but this place has gotten, like, zero ink (even in her case, which was in a lot of papers,) back on yon Democratic shore...
(Anti's tie in with the money (bird in corner,) is also a new one on me... got me curious.)
Sandra Levy?
I too ready an article several years ago and I want to say they were somehow tying her mysterious death to the Bohemian Grove. Interesting stuff...
...totally new one on me
Anti M:again with truly original stuff.
All my conspiracy circles, (some very politically related,) were from the other side of the Mississippi, and usually were around Washington and New York.
-I had never heard of this place, nor this group.
There have always been the elite of any society. They're most comfortable around each other, hang together, make it to the afterparties that nobody else knows about, and are insiders, (go to the same schools, same clubs, have same friends on MySpace, (etc.)
-I know doctors and lawyers who tend to let their kids play with other professional's kids, (sometimes for safety, sometimes so that there'd not be 'thought and focus depletion,' (they want like stimulated minds to know each other...)
-It's just odd to see that the politicos have a 'Burning Man.'
-but it makes sense.
-This is how 'Buzz' happens.
-When deeply enmeshed in such structures, few people really get a chance to chill out and relax, often they talk shop standing in the kitchen in their underwear, (just have to watch for that stray open mic. when talking to Tony Blair.)
-(I don't see people protesting us talking views online, at barbecues, and at 'tokyo between sets...
---and lives are influenced, sculpted, and determined here too.)
-standing against such heavyweights is like trying to stop an AmTrack with a bare hand, (similar results.)
I don't see the logic in protesting it,
-both Republicans and Democrats are entrenched and revered in these societies. (Probably Greens too.)
The government is corporate, and verse visa,
-Even from within it's nearly impossible to change the course of things.
They're caste, and 'old money' types, and the ultimate 'go along - get along' crowd. All politics and social circles are like this, (even individuals tend to cluster.)
-if we could get a shot of one of them at a watering hole downtown,
-I'm curious as to how much they'd pay for a pair of shoes.
(Actually, having sold the brands, I think I already know.)
Bohemian Grove
I first read about Bohemian Grove a few years ago. I couldn't believe I had never heard of it before then. I was amazed they were able to get so many movers and shakers in one spot. In trying to remember the article I had read, it may have been the San Francisco Chronicle, they would have skits and other typical camp antics. I remember there was blanted racism
in the early years but I think that had subsided somewhat. I was taken back by the fact they were essentially going over policy, but, was also glad they seemed like people as well with the skits etc. Sometimes it is hard for me to remember that they are people to ,and not some television character that is all evil or all good.
Maybe the executives and politicians at the camp see it as a retreat where they can air out their differences in a less formal way.
It would seem more amusing if they were not so powerful and their decisons were not so able to influence the rest of our lives so easily.
