Insert Fresno joke here

horsetraffic
Southern and Northern California "Fresno haters" would love to see this picture. I can hear the lame 'one horse town' jokes already.

Well F*#K those guys!

I may hate being the acidic focus of supposedly better than us NoCal and SoWhatCal people, but I think a person riding a horse in the middle of the city is cool.

The man riding the horse (pictured above) is sometimes spotted at the intersection of Ashlan and Fruit. This dude is no doubt coming from the Armstrong Stables, just down the street on Fruit.

can't stand it, I just need to know...

What does the horse call it's fashion style?

-and how much would it pay for shoes?

a new Library idea?

I would like to Propose that the Gillis Branch Library (629 W. Dakota) be moved and built at that vacant north-east corner lot at Fruit & Ashlan (where you took that photo). I'd like to see something like that built there and not a fast food or shopping (inconvenience of losers that hang out because they have nothing better to do) store.

Maybe even have it devoted to the Arts since Margaret Hudson home is nearby.

whups, there it is...

I was riding down Blackstone the other day, coming from Hearndon, probably even above Bullard, when I see, stomping along in the opposite lane, a guy on a heavy horse with those 'bicycle Blinkie' lights all over him and the horse, (few on the side, few on him, few on the saddle...)

Total Ponderosa UFO...

The horse didn't seem to mind the traffic whatsoever,,, and considering what people do to pickups (ropeladder to get in the things,)
Hoss on this beast makes perfect sense... (The horse's feet are the diameter of hubcaps... THIS is a HORSE.)

I thought I was overtired and it was a little too hot out,,,
glad to know I weren't seeing things, bubba.
