Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" is a thrilling orchestral whirlwind of a ride...as uplifting and energizing today as it was new and shocking when written in the 1850s.
Bruckner's Te Deum is a celebratory Hymn of Praise, with spectacular beauty and depth of emotion that is not complete without soloists and chorus to sing for joy.
Mahler's Sixth Symphony takes us on a journey of pathos - from its opening ominous march to mysterious cowbells and emboldened brass, to its famous "three hammer blows of fate" conclusion.
