Some people, like Creative Fresno members, do both. Join us at our annual meeting at Palomino's tomorrow night, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. If you are tired of complaining about Fresno and are ready to leap into action to make it a place you want to live, please join us.
We'll be giving an overview of progress made this year, and plans for next year. It's a great opportunity to make a positive impact in your community, and I'm not just saying that because I'm the Chair.
rsvp p.duex
soo, i reread the email i received (membership has its priveleges, non?) and saw that i needed to rsvp @ fun@creativefresno.com .
done and done.
see you all tonight
rsvp?
i joined creative fresno @ a blender and haven't been back yet. i keep meaning to be more involved but fail to do so. so, i see this as a potential opportunity for me to once again step up, as it's only a stones throw from my doorway.
do people need to rsvp of some sort, or can they just show up for the soiree?
hmmm
I'm thinking Lou Reed: 'Sweet Jane,' for the title,
(specifically, the live version on Rock and Roll Animal... amazing track,)
--but Mott the Hoople (Ian Hunter,) also do a decent rendition...
(Reed with Velvet Underground's orig. version also is a tough act... but the live rendition just stomps guts...
--but if you really want to fall in love with the song?
Margot Timmons from Cowboy Junkies...
Oy Gevult,,,
THAT version totally goes with your 'best Famous Person,' pict...
yep.
(Jarah, you have good music sense, you know that...)
