In Memorium, Marcos Rodarte

The Fresno Arts Council has sent out the following sad news on the death of artist Marcos Rodarte.

Artist Marco Rodarte, age 28, passed away suddenly Saturday, May 19th at his family home in Fresno. Marcos attended the Seattle Art Institute where he excelled in animation art. Marcos had a solo show of figurative watercolors in the Spring of 2006. In addition to his passion for art Marcos enjoyed camping, cooking and the restoration and building of automobiles. Truly a man for all seasons.

Marcos is survived by his parents Andrew and Nora, sisters Raquel and Andrea and canine companions Brutes and Roscoe.

Services for Marcos are being handled by Farewell Funeral Services located at 660 E. Locust in Fresno. A Rosary is scheduled for 7:00 pm Friday, May 26th at 7:00 pm at the Farewell Chapel. A celebration of life will be held
