Is it wrong to start a high school massacre pool?

The angst is getting ready to boil over in Visalia. Two weeks ago there was the anthrax-no-wait-it's-chalk incident, and today there's word of death and bomb threats at Golden West HS.
Apparently, one disgruntled student sent a letter to the Bee threatening to blow up the school, and a janitor found a similar one on campus. If plan A didn't work out, he (I'm assuming it's a he) threatened to track down five of the popular students and kill them at their homes. Integral to his plan was the on-campus presence of Y101, which definitely makes you want to blow shit up. Can we just abolish football and cheerleading? Haven't they caused enough pain? I hear Ray Lopes is already scouting this kid for the 2007 season.
Our high schools won't be safe until we end our dependence on Saudi oil.
