Muggy: What better place to affirm your new-found civic duty than in the Fashion Fair mall, with its free air conditioning and Hot Dog on a Stick? Nowhere! Congratulations to all the new citizens out there. All that waiting in the refugee camp was so worth it!
Humid: 53rd and Broadway was never that exciting for me, but there they are, the Beastie Boys, filming in the street. Is that an airport SuperShuttle in the background? I don't care if your album is coming out today, or if you dated Kathleen Hanna, or if you're adored by millions, there's just no excuse for inconveniencing the good people of midtown. The egregious display of celebrity privilege will be on Letterman tonight. [from Gothamist]
