Samizdat tips us off to the 18th National Veterans Golden Age Games this weekend at the Convention Center ("BWHA! Put that on the Flyer").

We're excited for the horseshoe competition (visually impaired division) and the pentathalon (softball hit, discus, shot put, basketball free throw and air guns). Plus Lee Greenwood is playing at the opening gala, as part of his eternal Fresno-Clovis-Bakersfield tour.
