Did I ever tell you I'm in love with your girlfriend... It's not that we're obsessed with The Ship, it's that The Ship is obsessed with the Valley. In case you don't know, The Ship is a recording studio/art collective based in LA that's spawned bands like the Panty Lions, Pine Marten, Earlimart, and IRVING, who are playing in Visalia this Friday!

So maybe we're a little obsessed with Irving. And Earlimart. Irving plays perfect poppy goodness with catchy hooks and melodies. They at times remind us of Thee Headcoats, the Beach Boys, the Velvet Underground, and Hank Williams. This is another one of Vernal Falls awesome shows at Howie's Pizza, and it's only $2! Irving is playing tonight at Spaceland in LA with the Arcade Fire and has just finished a new album. Rumor on the street is all the big fancy labels are interested and this is your last chance to see them this close to home.
