"Thanks Fresno Bee for sharing. I liked the music and enjoyed the video very much. Gracias!!!" #
"Have you tried the Fresno Area Musicians Exchange Facebook page, Dick? There are several guys on there that go way back and may know of Glen Adams. http://www.facebook.com/groups/211993405485087/ Dale Stewart" #
"Need Assistance: I am looking for any information about a Fresno singer (mid 1960's) named Glen Adams. He recorded "Only In My Heart." I am working with a D.J. from Kansas City who will be broadcasting a show about San Joaquin Valley bands from 1960 - 1970. I have collected over 160 tracks (11 CD personal set) of bands from this era. Visit: www.thebrymers.com and click on the "San Joaquin Valley bands." tab. Dick Lee The Brymers (based out nof Lemoore during the 60's) New Release: "The Love From Our Soul" (17 tracks of classic rock sound) Other Albums: 1. Never Too Old to rock-n-Roll 2. 40 Year Brotherhood 3. Where Are they Now 4. Sacrifice Dick Lee rleekgb@comcast.net" #
"Google streetview has some pretty good shots of highway 1 and the entrance to Limekiln." #
"There is a beach at Limekiln that is only accessible to people in the campground (or those who pay a day use fee) which is pretty great. This is one of the State Parks that was closed and now is being managed by a private company which as much as I dislike that, I'm happy at least that it remains open. There is no cell service there which is a plus for us because it requires us to disconnect for the few days we are there and really enjoy our family and the surroundings." #
"Some friends of friends came down from the bay area and when I asked, "Did you guys do anything Fresnocentric?" They answered, "yes, We saw the Fulton Mall and City Hall."" #
"Thanks for the comment, wienzer, Big Sur is next on my list of Central Coast camping spots. Is Limekiln right on the beach?" #
"One of our favorite tent camping spots is just a ways up the coast from there (Limekiln State Park), we make a point to stop and check out the seals every time we go." #
"Kim, Do you know of a vegan substitute for butter?" #
"The recipes in Please Feed Me take second place to the stories, it has more of a zine feel to it than a cookbook. I need to look into the Soy Not Oi 2 project more, that's exciting!" #
"Please Feed Me looks very cool. From Ireland, I will check that out. Though I'm not a Vegan I do enjoy vegetarian food and aspire to Vegan Super Powers! The Soy Not Oi 2 project is directed by Jack Kahn who lives here in Fno." #
"I wish I had the presence of mind to write things down as I make them, I can never re-create anything I make. :( Super stoked about the cookbook! Have you seen Please Feed Me? http://www.amazon.com/Please-Feed-Me-Niall-McGuirk/dp/1932360093" #
"Sounds good, I'll have to check that place out. They're still looking for vegan recipes for the Soy Not Oi 2 Cookbook: http://soynotoi.com/" #
"Looking forward to your posts, Mr. Appeal!" #
"Wow! that's nice, welcome aboard, Captain! Embracing the weirdness and looking for redeeming factors." #
